About Us.
FM Electrical Services was founded in 1973 by Fred Mitchell in Sturry, serving the local community - originally travelling by trade bicycle to help customers with their electrical needs.
As the business grew, Fred was joined by his son-in-law, David Horrell, and with the addition of a van, they expanded their services across Canterbury, Herne Bay, and Whitstable.
In 2001, David's son Peter joined the company and continues to run the business today. Over the years, with the support of family members and a trusted team, FM Electrical Services has grown to cover all of South East Kent.
We remain a small, family-run business, proud to offer reliable, friendly service - from urgent repairs to full electrical upgrades.
